1969 - Elvis Presley's single "Suspicious Minds" hit the Hot 100. The single would be Elvis's last U.S. #1.

1971 - The documentary "Elvis On Tour" opened in the U.S. The film covered Elvis Presley shows from April 5th-April 19th.
