1967 - Muhammad Ali was indicted for refusing induction in U.S. Army.

1978 - David R. Berkowitz, known as the "Son of Sam," pled guilty to six murder charges.

1988 - Stella Nickell was convicted on two counts of murder by jury in Seattle, Washington. She was the first person to be found guilty of violating the Federal Anti-Tampering Act after using cyanide in Excedrin capsules to kill her husband. Another woman, Susan Snow, was killed by pills in a poisoned bottle.
