1979 - Prince performed for Warner Brothers executives in Minneapolis. The show went well, but Prince did not perform live again until late in 1979.
1982 - The Prince single "Let's Work" was released in the U.S.
1991 - Prince premiered his newest backing band, the New Power Generation, at the Glam Slam club in Minneapolis. The band featured Tony M, Rosie Gaines, Michael Bland, Damon Dickson, Sonny T, and Tommy Barbarella.
