1981 - The Time's debut album was released. It is commonly accepted that Prince was the writer and performer of all of the songs.
2003 - The Prince CD "N.E.W.S." was officially released on NPG Records. The album was all instrumental and conatained only four songs (North, East, South and West) that were each 14 minutes long. The album had been previously released on Prince's Internet sites.
